Elvaston Castle is a stately home in Elvaston, South Derbyshire, UK and is located within a beautiful country park.

The park consists of approximately 321 acres, there is a bridleway around the perimeter of the estate with numerous footpaths to guide you through the castle grounds.

My picture was taken of the stately home from across the lake. Elvaston is great for walkers, (including dog walkers), cyclists and joggers and has always been a favourite place of mine as there are plenty of photographic opportunities! You can spot lots of wildlife too…. Great place for all the family to enjoy.
